Braga has pulled out all the stops to hold on to first place in the league so far...
With less funds to buy high profile talent compared to the big three, how has Braga managed to rise to the top?

The success of Braga is nothing but good news for the Portuguese league. They've given a great example to the rest of the clubs on how to put forward a competitive team without as much spending. The more competitive teams in the league, the more teams play in European competition. The more success they have in Europe, the more money they get. Their scouts should be applauded, they've managed to spot some great brazilians and have used some neglected portuguese players to get to the top. I would very much like to see Hugo Viana go to the World Cup and get some playing time; give the seleccao a sick left foot in the middle of the pitch.
