How far do you think Portugal will go at this summer's World Cup?
I know that all of the squads at the tournament are top notch, and to make it far, you need that extra little bit of effort, that extra little bit of luck. I think if Portugal puts in the hard work, and if our ever elusive Lady Luck finally agrees to dinner, then I think we can make it all the way to the finals! How far do you think they'll go?

ReplyDeleteI say we have the best team on paper but what I am more concerned is 'LUCK!'I hope we have more luck in our favour than recent world cup/euro events. Looking back, Id say we always had to fight hard to go through to the next round without having the refs in our favor. Just the like the Italians, its always givin to em!
ReplyDeleteYou're right, luck is very important, and that is why the 'best' teams don't always win. One small decision made by a player can have ridiculous consequences. Momentum, is huge in determining matches, the time when these things pop up does largely involve luck.
